Maple glaze for salmon

Talk about a quick recipe! Less than 1 minute, and you're done. Use this glaze on salmon when you bake it in the over or barbecue. No matter, it's a nice, simple, sweet, salty and slightly hot mixture that goes super well with salmon.


  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) soy sauce.
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) maple syrup.
  • 1/2 tsp (2 mL) ground ginger.
  • This should be enough two salmon filets. Adjust quantities as needed.


  • Mix 3 ingredients in a small bowl.
  • Apply half of the glaze to salmon filets, with a brush.
  • Bake or barbecue.
  • Mid way through cooking, apply the other half.

Served with Kale and caramelized onions, this meal is healthy and very delicious!
