Ginger maple chicken (version française, cliquer ici)
Serve this chicken on a bed of basmati rice and sprinkle the top with chopped green onion.
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless chicken breasts, cut in pieces.
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour.
- 2 teaspoons vegetable oil.
- 1/2 cup maple syrup.
- 2 teaspoons wine vinegar.
- 1/4 cup soy sauce.
- 2 teaspoons chopped ginger.
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped.
- 1/2 teaspoons fresh ground pepper.
- 2 green onions.
Instructions:
- Preheat oven at 350F.
- Cover chicken pieces with flour.
- Fry in vegetable oil until golden. About 5 minutes.
- Add maple syrup, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, garlic and pepper.
- Transfer to over safe dish, and cook in oven for 30 minutes.
